YOUR BEST FRIEND INSIDE ME (Fanmade FRIEND Battle Theme)

Written for the GMEA All-State Horns of 2021. The ensemble was comprised of both middle school and high school horn players from across Georgia. It was commissioned by Achim Reus a former orchestral horn player from Germany and the private teacher to over 40 horn players across the north Georgia area. Written in 6/8 to harken to the iconic horn calls of the past but using contemporary harmonies. An exciting piece to open a chamber recital.
