We sit down with data journalist SHERRELL DORSEY, who offers candid insights into her process after announcing that her technology news platform, The Plug, would shut down after seven years. Producer and reporter JOYCE PHILIPPE guides the conversation, and the pair discuss the importance of claiming your value, building community as a founder, funding solutions, and knowing when to pivot.

NFL star and current NY Giant Darren Waller connects with West Coast legend The Game, music industry vet Matt Fingaz, VIP Life’s Boss Joey Majors and one of NC’s finest Shame Gang come together on the song titled “The Plug” remix produced by multi platinum producer Rockwilder (Jay-Z, Redman, Christina Aguilera).

Each one of these talents are thee plug and connect in their respective worlds. Bridging the gap between music and sports, this team assembled plans on making a real difference thru collaboration. All proceeds will be donated towards The Darren Waller Foundation helping support him in his cause to equip youth to avoid and overcome addiction to drugs and alcohol, and to support youth and their families during their recovery and treatment journey.

A very old mashup that always irritated me before, the chorus in 'Buck Buck' ("Buck, Buck, Buck, Yeah, I let the lid out...") felt out of place.

Finally gotten around to remaking the mashup in Ableton Live and was able to cut it to my liking.

Discovered in May 2008, this version created in November 2023.

In November 2023 RA hosted a Community Connections event in Johannesburg, in collaboration with P_ssy Party and Lilies Radio. The event brought together a multitude of voices that shape the city's electronic music communities.

Hosted by local collective P_ssy Party at creative hub and venue The Plug, the panel discussion covered the growth of the electronic music scene in the city and its relationship to accessibility, event organisation and community-building. The talk featured contributions from VNJ's Lelowhatsgood, Deep Town Jozi founder DJ Hara, HomeComing Events' Athabile Ngxamngxa and RA city manager Nickita Maesela.
