The lead single from my greatest album never made. "The Mood & The Mindset" was an album I wrote in 2018-2019 with plans to release and attempt a tour in 2020. I shelved the album and changed directions in my life only to regret never releasing any of it years later. It's 2024 and I can't stand a project I put a lot of time into collecting digital dust on the shelves.

I remember hearing this beat for the first time and immediately knowing I was going to make a song to it. I imagined myself surround by people all waving and bouncing to this song with me. My 2019 mind was telling me this was my breakout hit, and maybe it wouldn't have been, but I still like to pretend.

Hey, Mister has been heard by a limited audience and was performed only once to 20 people on a porch show at the house I owned in Gray, ME. I hope you enjoy it!
