The Stolen Maharaja is about the 11 year-old boy King, Duleep Singh who was was stolen by the British regime during the Sikh-Anglo war. He was kidnapped and taken to England where he lived most of his teenage/adult life with Queen Victoria as a trophy of their achievement for stealing the royal boy and the largest diamond in the world, the Koh-I-Noor. He was titled The Black Prince of Perthshire living as an English Country Gentleman but Duleep wanted to return back to India and connect with his Sikh religion, however the British refused.
