Theme: The Necessity Of Hearing And Speaking The Word!

Sub-theme: Share In The Spirit Of The Spoken Word!

Scriptures: Luke 10:41-42 | Numbers 11:24-29 | Isaiah 59: 21 

INTRODUCTION 

God gives gifts according to what He is giving you. You shall become according to the gift of God! JTL you shall be according to your gifts!

Your spiritual fathers are your gifts! They are not anointed and empowered for themselves but for you. What they receive is so that they can give you. Jesus was given as a global gift to the Apostles, and their story didn't end in Jerusalem. The gift will be shared wherever it is received. 

Do not be too busy doing the things of God without the grace of God. Today, come to receive, it's a place of transfer, it's not a show. You are gathered to receive! We love the teachings of our father because we receive from them, we are made from them. 

Be serious about receiving because when God gives, He is serious. Give of yourself to God, give your heart, your strength, and everything. 

Come to listen and you will be made into a son. Sonship is not a title, it's a position of receiving. God keeps the best things for His children. He has joy, peace, love and the Holy Spirit for His children. God has bread every day for His children (Matthew 15:26). He has eternal provision. 

THE ABSOLUTE NECESSITY OF HEARING AND SPEAKING THE WORD!

First, hear! Listen to God! God is not afraid of any desert in your life because His voice shakes the desert. What you don't have does not change who you are. Because you are, you can receive again! You are who God says you are! 

Mary became because she received the word (Luke 1:38). We receive by hearing. Peter listened to Jesus and he was made into a fisherman. Jesus said, "Follow me and I will make you fishers of men” (Matthew 4:19). Do not listen once, follow up on your listening. Listen today, tomorrow and forever. 

Choose listening over everything. Because you are listening to the word of God, your destiny will change. 

SHARE IN THE SPIRIT OF THE SPOKEN WORD!

We receive by hearing but we give by speaking! God in the beginning was a preacher (John 1:1). Everything He gave to the world He gave by speaking. He is a giver. Be like your Father, whatever you are going to begin, begin by speaking. Be the preacher of your future. 

When you listen, you will receive what you need to speak. We receive by listening and we manifest what we've received by speaking! 

What is the necessity of speaking? You may have something, but if you don't speak it, it will never come to pass (2 Corinthians 4:13-15). You need faith to speak. Faith means to commit yourself to what you have heard. It's time to listen to God because your life depends on it. Give God all your attention! 

God is expecting total commitment if we want to see the things He spoke manifest. What God is, He is not for himself. Moses said, "What is it to me if all God's children become prophets?" You too can become a preacher! Jesus was made in order to make us (Matthew 28:18). 

Many times people know what God has given them, they know what God wants them to do, but they are weak to do what they know they must do. That's why it's important to share in the Spirit of the spoken word. It is not by might nor by power, but by the Spirit of the Lord (Zechariah 4:6)! Do not force it, first receive and be led by the Spirit! 

1 Samuel 9:27 | 1 Samuel 10:1-10

God is not just speaking today, but He is pouring out His Spirit. You will be anointed to command! The Spirit of God makes you a commander. Do turn into a commander without the Spirit. You shall be a commander by the Holy Ghost!

CONCLUSION

The strategy of the devil is to imprison the gift of speaking to one person. God gives by speaking, if we stop the gift of speaking and limit it to one person, we stop God's giving.
