Rock/Folk from Chicago. 

With influences including; Jeff Buckley, Nick Drake, Led Zeppelin, The Decemberists, and Radiohead, Smith has a penchant for for unique rhythms, song structures and melodies.

Smith's defining trait though is his voice. He utilizes a powerful vocal range that can seamlessly pivot from a soft, expressive baritone to a booming falsetto with piercing clarity.

Actively recording since 2019, Smith recorded and released his debut EP, "28 Club" in 2022 after a successful crowdfunding campaign with Plaid Dog Recording. 

In 2023 he released a pair of singles, the first, "To Rivendell," a lively and cinematic adaptation taken from the pages of J.R.R. Tolkien's 'The Fellowship of the Ring." The second, an inspired reimagining of The Zombies' 1968 hit, "Time of the Season."

▶ eveava's sound embodies her adventurous spirit. Her fresh approach to crafting her sets involves unearthing songs from older eras and artfully blending them with more contemporary or futuristic sounds. Whether it's dropping a bolero from the 30’s before an Aphex Twin track and then following it up with an amapiano gem, or a rare Bowie acapella sample, eveava's eclectic selection is an open relationship between the past and future, the groovy and edgy, the organic and the machinelike.

eveava's versatility has earned her performances alongside a diverse range of artists, including  DJ Tennis, Whitesquare, Perel, Axel Boman, Floating Points, Nicola Cruz, and Pantha du Prince.

In addition to her dynamic DJ sets, eveava's productions are equally exciting. She infuses rich percussion, spoken word samples, soulful grooves, and arpeggiated leads, resulting in a fresh sound. 

Both in the studio and on the stage, eveava consistently pushes boundaries with a sound that is deeply personal and highly danceable. Her unique style strikes the perfect balance between introspection and celebration, connecting with listeners on both intellectual and visceral levels.

eveava was born in Medellin, Colombia and is currently based in Berlin, where she is pursuing her master's degree in Visual & Experience Design while finishing work on her debut EP.
