(Walking down a path of leaves and shrooms of unidentified sort, you start to notice a small and strange structure up ahead, just where the pathway leads you... It's an abstract machine, it's purpose is yet to be discovered, Ralsei is getting visibly curious.)

(Susie) * Ralsei, you understand machinery, is that right?
There's a strange one up ahead, we should investigate it.
(Ralsei) * Yes, I noticed. That strange metallic platform...
It's getting me curious. Kris, Susie, wait here for a minute, would you?
(Kris) * Sure thing.

(Ralsei walks up to the small panel to see if there is anything worthy of his attention. Although, it is concerning that something out of ordinary would be lying purposelessly in the middle of nowhere... On the small panel, there is written text, but Ralsei struggles to read it. The writing is too damn illegible for him to understand.)
(Abruptly, a small click can be heard.)

(Ralsei) * …?
(Kris and Susie) RALSEI! WATCH OUT!

(CLANG!)

(Lancer) * GOTCHA!

(Ralsei is captured in a metal cage that fell down from above. Lancer is siting on the cage as well.)

I wanted this song to sound as utterly stupid as possible. And hopefully, it does! the Kirby 64 soundfont has a lot of silly sounding instruments, and I used exclusively that. You'd be designing a gilded cage to spend eternity trapped in here, for the record, and outfit it with torture devices. In Chapter 2's Rouxls boss replacement, Hahlekwin would spin on it sideways like a unicycle. Because it's FUNNY.

With Darkners catching wind of Barney reigniting the plan to get everyone back to the Light World, Rouxls sees the target Barney’s painted on him, and teaches him how to FIGHT with... a recovered Thrash Machine, acting as the Ruins Dummy replacement.

Rouxls Kaard is the Toriel replacement. Once Barney makes it to the door barring Rouxls’s domain from the rest of the Card Kingdom, Rouxls flips the script and fights to keep Barney from following through with his plan to reunite everyone. Rouxls has gotten much too comfortable calling the shots for things to go back to the way they were.
