Taking a time out doesn't mean you're slacking off. In fact, it's a vital part of productivity and self-care.

In this podcast, I'm sharing my personal experience of being overwhelmed, and somehow burnt out just because I made my supposedly non-negotiable "time-out" to something negotiable and not taking a break at all. But hey, I've managed to overcome my guilt of taking a break and gave myself some space and calm time.

Anna Felitsky, a student in her 3rd year here at Westminster who has quite the full plate this semester. Anna is involved with the Football team as a trainer, she is a Resident Administrator in Russell hall, an early childhood education major, and finally a little social bug on her free  time. Anna started her semester with RA training and helping the new freshman move into the dorms. She dives into her first 1 or 2 weeks telling stories about new students settling in and how the other RA’s come together to fix problems not just 1 person can fix. We also dive into Anna’s personal life, how she prioritizes herself in her free time with self-care tactics and making time to be around her friends. Luckily she works with one of her close friends, Josie Cervone, who is a sophomore. With long and sometimes inconvenient times, having a friend by your side is a blessing to stay sane sometimes. Anna Felitsky is quite the worker bee and with this attitude, she will go far in life I believe.
