Grid Records launch their first of a series of releases for 2023 with a five-track EP from Mexico City's Nico.

'Passage' is complete polyrhythmic bliss with minimalist, ethereal elements that sparkle among the overall dread-driven atmosphere. With the title track also featuring Tristan Arp (Wisdom Teeth/Banoffee Pies), the range of works perfectly encapsulate the style for which Nico has been renowned for via releases on Timedance, Mother's Finest and L.I.E.S.

This was an incredibly fun show. What started out as an innocent jaunt through electro and italo disco devolved into a circuitry-broken, hell-bent spiral staircase of rattling percussion and haphazard basslines moving from around 100 bpm steadily up to 130.

Fallen in fury, he treads alone on his new imprint, Poorly Knit, lashing out with two twisted and tangling tracks, The Price & Mimicry. Obscure sound design and unhinged samples are stitched into bass-bin-devastating rhythm and melody, cementing and serenading the burial of all DJs brave enough to step up.
