Group project, made together with other musicians. Very cool. I like this vibe and would like to maybe make my music in this style. It was very fun to once again make music writing in Korean as well.

My vocal performance here is an example of "topline" singing, and is becoming my signature style it seems. Never meeting in person I remixed a previously recorded jam between some of my favorite musicians and laid down a vocal track on top of it.

I was inspired to write about inner authority after catching Jungkook of BTS' Sleeping Parties on Weverse LIVE in 2023. It is dedicated to BTS and ARMY. 

Remixing and vocalizing on this track began during BTS' military service and was released here as they prepared to return from conscription. 

There were many factors playing into the reawakening and resurrection of my own self-care through music, and the sharing of BTS member's talent and personal lives on camera. Yeah, no one was more surprised than I. 

First, it was Suga and Psy's That That THAT caught my ear. Then JK and Charlie, and I said, hey, that's not Suga. It was like a bolt of lightning. And I was like wtf is this? 

Then I caught the Jimin Effect, and heard V sing and be Extra, and Big Daddy Joon, and Jinshi, and dear Hobi, well I knew there was no turning back. I binge-watched BTS videos with astonishing joy during a very difficult time during our Global Pandemic. We all found enduring togetherness at last.

Most of the songs here were composed live. That is, beginning as a free improvisation I look for form and content to emerge, then I sing it or play what I hear. You are hearing them in a similar way that we heard them as we played them for the first time. A Shared Timezone. Many of the players here and I have never met in person, but have played together for many years via Internet.
