Fragment is the result of an electronic music project produced by highfield. The EP contains four tracks, which are united by chirping TB-303 basses, smacking TR-808 drums, and wide, deep pads and synths.
Ranging from 127 to 132 BPM, these breakbeats are influenced by different subgenres, such as parts of house and jungle music. They impress with a sound that is both calm and driving.

This EP is available for purchase on Bandcamp and on all streaming platforms.

highfield is a producer, DJ and gear head. 
His main interests are sample-based music from the 90s and early 2000s. Starting in 2016 with hip hop beats, influenced by the underground scene of East Coast US rap, to electronic dance- and breaks-music such as jungle from the turn of the millennium. 
In addition to music production, highfield also focuses on other subgenres. As a DJ, he not only plays jungle and electronic music in local clubs, but is also the host of several radio shows at stayfm.com, a non-commercial online radio station in Augsburg. 

highfield's goal has always been to move away from the mainstream and towards alternative subgenres of all kinds.
