Fridge doors hum and microwaves sigh.
Steel shelves fade, I drift away—
To tropic thoughts on a lunch break day.
Black bread’s rough, pork’s paper-thin,
But I feel the groove start deep within.
Not from beats, no beach, no sand—
Just one yellow dream in someone’s hand.

I see it shine, a golden light,
A mustard tube, oh what a sight.
Strong or smooth, I’m not that picky—
Just give me that hit, hot, cold, or sticky.

Put some flavor in this faded hit.
No shame, no pride, just need that zing—
To make my sandwich feel like spring. 🎶
