For TSR_RADIO_006, we're stepping things up with a special guest straight outta Buenos Aires, Argentina. We're hyped to welcome our first artist from outside Europe – Guile, also known as Guillermo Morelli. If you’re in the know, you already recognize his impact.

Guile’s been putting in serious work as a musician, DJ, and producer, running the Mirror platform, which holds it down for both vinyl and digital releases. He’s already made waves on labels like Limousine Dream, Proper Grub, Roof Records, Música Lunar, Island Beats, Agua y Sed, and a whole lot more. 

As a DJ, Guile’s got that smooth mix of House, Electro, and Breaks, always keeping it unpredictable and fresh. We’re genuinely excited to have him as part of the TSR journey for this one.

With a successful debut year as a DJ in 2023, Esch, resident at Off The Grid, has quickly established himself within the electronic music scene. As the first artist from our hometown to be featured on TSR, this moment feels like a true full-circle journey.

From sharing party nights to now having him on our platform, the journey feels complete, and we’re beyond grateful to share this path with such a good friend.

I ❤ D&B Compilation Mix Part 2

This podcast presents a First-Tier Tribunal Tax Chamber judgment regarding two appellants, Roger Joye and David Sumners, and their dispute with HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) concerning income tax and the calculation of Top Slicing Relief (TSR). The core of the appeals revolves around whether their self-assessment tax returns, specifically the TSR calculations, were filed in accordance with "practice generally prevailing" (PGP) at the time. The Tribunal analyzes past cases like Silver and Sally Judges, as well as the meaning and application of PGP as defined by legal precedents, ultimately determining that HMRC failed to prove the existence of a prevailing practice that aligned with their calculations at the relevant dates. The judgment concludes by allowing the appellants' appeals, effectively upholding their claims for overpayment relief.
