This latest album has a blend of soulful / ethereal music with some old school hip hop beats, downtempo, deep house, garagetempo, and some experimental "Haitian Kompa" mixed with deep house; check the track: Haitian Indigo to have a taste (for those new to the genre).  I've put a good amount of time to creating this album, and to represent my roots.

Also a sidenote on the tracklist; the titles are based on all the 6 colors of a rainbow + 6 intermediate colors in between + 1 black

Everyone knows this feeling of longing to return to someone or something. Be it your favourite person, your family, simply your favourite city or a special (musical) experience. 

With "BK2U", Krimba - House & Garage pioneer since 1997 - returns to his label Groove Dust Records after a long break, on which the first release "Together" appeared already 15 years ago. 

"BK2U '95" is a tribute to the English sunday garage sound of the mid 90's, when productions by the likes of Tuff Jam, Grant Nelson, R.I.P. or Jeremy Sylvester were first heard in clubs and on pirate radio. 

The "NY Speed Mix", on the other hand, is much more bass-heavy and dedicated to the darker speed garage sound of the late 90's, which can be heard almost everywhere again today. 

"BK2U" can be presaved from the 9th of July and will be available digitally on all streaming platforms and shops from the 18th of July. 

However, the philosophy of Groove Dust Records is to give music a value in a digital world. That's why "BK2U" will soon also be available in a very rare limited vinyl edition, with a different version of the NY Speed Mix! This mix will not be available digitally anywhere, so keep your eyes and ears open!

JT, born Jay Tipa, is a soulful house DJ who has been spinning tracks since 1985. JT's passion for house music started at a young age back in his hometown of East London. He spent countless nights and weekends listening to DJs spin at local clubs, and it wasn't long before he was inspired to learn how to DJ.

JT started off playing local gigs at house parties and small events. He quickly built a reputation for himself as a talented and versatile DJ who could seamlessly mix different genres of music. He also had a keen ear for great music and was often the first among his peers to discover new and exciting tracks.

Over the years, JT continued to refine his craft, experimenting with different styles and techniques to keep his sets fresh and exciting. He drew inspiration from some of the greats, including Frankie Knuckles, David Morales, and Louie Vega. By the early 90s, JT's reputation had grown beyond East London , and he began playing gigs across the country.


JT's love for house music has never faded, and he continues to inspire and entertain audiences today, four decades after he first picked up a pair of turntables.

KRIMBA started djing already back in 1997 when Speedgarage hit the dancefloors of Europe first.

Getting support from the likes of Djane De Layna, Shaun „Banger“ Scott, Dj EZ, The Wideboys & many more, KRIMBA surely is no stranger to the circuit.

He has already been producing house & garage music under different names such as ARTEFFECT, Daniel Kingley, G.D.R. or Junior Clan to name but a few.

However, after experiencing the music industry for 25 years, the original name KRIMBA will set the footprint for the future.

College Radio DJ for 88.3 WXOU FM (Oakland University) since 2011. In the Spring/Summer I host on Thursdays at 6 pm EST. In the Fall/Winter I host on Fridays at 8 PM EST. think it's pretty good. You can listen to see for yourself.
