Baikal Nomads is a record label focused on organic house with deep atmosphere and melodic grooves. The label's latest release features collaborative original music from Cereus and Revibe along with stunning remixes by Veytik, Alex Doering and Timboletti.

There are two original tracks on this release that include the collaboration, plus a solo production by Cereus. Both of the original artists are from Denver, USA and Revibe is an emerging talent making his debut with this stunning release.

Cereus is making his debut on Baikal Nomads following an exquisite debut on the Suprematic record label where he showcased his downtempo blend of ethereal atmosphere and enchanting melodies.

On remix duty, Veytik is an American artist from New York whose mystical tracks have been released on respected organic house record labels ranging from Harabe to Cafe De Anatolia.

Alex Doering is a Baikal Nomads regular who provides a spine-tingling remix in the style that he has featured on other imprints such as Kosa, The Purr and trndmsk.

The last of the remixes comes from Timboletti, a renowned German artist who has been pioneering organic house since the genre's inception and has an impressive back catalogue including music on Sol Selectas, Kindisch, Do Not Sit, 3000 Grad Records and Stil Vor Talent.

"Kula" is the collaborative original and it opens the release with rattling organic percussion and majestic pads that create an uplifting atmosphere with a soothing vibe.

"Chandra" is the solo original by Cereus and it's a spellbinding track with sweeping synths and pulsating rhythms that are cut by rushes of sparkling melody and it unfolds with building tension.

Veytik's remix of "Kula" drops the tempo and adds vocal chants that give the track an indigenous vibe full of psychedelic and shamanistic vibes.

Timboletti's remix of "Kula" adds trippy synths with techy undertones that lead into the soothing synths of the original as the track moves towards the spiralling textures of the breakdown.
   
Alex Doering's remix of "Chandra" adds hallucinatory vocal textures and stabbing synth chords along with a prominent snare that helps him create a dramatic remix that lifts the energy of the original.

This is my first mix after learning how to DJ over the past 3 weeks.

My philosophy when it comes to learning is to move quick, take chances, and be consistent. It does not bother me to suck early on, as it's expected. But the quicker I get the "first drafts" out of the way, the quicker I'll become great.

I am thrilled to share with you a live recording of my deep and organic house music set, performed at the renowned Welur Festival. This set was the opening act at the Welur Stage, the main stage of the festival.

As the sun set and the crowd gathered, I embarked on a sonic journey blending deep house grooves with organic elements. The energy of the set grew with each track, creating an immersive experience for the audience. The deep basslines and intricate percussion formed a solid foundation, while the organic textures and melodic elements added a touch of natural beauty.

Whether you were at the Welur Festival or listening for the first time, I invite you to dive into this deep and organic house journey.

❂A Ceremony in Ancient Java  

➳ Java, 5000 years ago a small Neolithic community gathered under the warm glow of the setting sun. The villagers had come together for a sacred ceremony guided by their revered shaman who possessed a deep connection with the spiritual realm.

➳ The air was thick with an anticipation as the rhythmic beat filled the atmosphere, its primal echoes reverberating through the souls of the gathered villagers. As twilight painted the sky with hues of purple and gold, the shaman began calling upon the spirits of nature to lend their guidance and blessings.

➳ With graceful gestures, the shaman invited the villagers to participate. Each person stepped forward, whispered their intentions, hopes and dreams into the wind. The villagers joined hands, forming a circle that symbolized their unity with one another and the natural world.

➳ As the ceremony finds its peak, the shaman spoke about the importance of harmony between humans and the world they inhabited. He carried inspiration and blessings into the villagers’ hearts, to secure peace and happiness.

➳ Proven information about how the people and communities actually lived more than 5000 years ago in Java is very rare. However, ancient ceremonies were held to connect with each other, nature, and everything beyond the tangible. It’s part of who they were, ensuring the harmony and well-being of the community for generations to come.

Afterhour Sounds is since his begining in 2012 a crew of music lovers, music makers and music supporters. What started as an idea developed over the years into an important institution in the field of electronic dance in and beyond germany. I am a DJ. Yes. And I produce music. House Music. And - I believe in the magic that good music can deeply trigger our emotions.  And - I run this label called SUGARSTARR TRAXX. Feel free to collaborate and release with me. 

My mission is bringing together the wide range of House Music. From Disco-, Funky- to undergroundish Ibiza Tech House. 

And this is my full story:
 
Sugarstarr is a DJ and Producer, based in Vienna. In the Musicbiz since 1998 he had several #1 Club-Hits released on labels such as Spinnin‘ Deep, Enormous Tunes, Ministry Of Sound, Kontor, Positiva, Universal, Sony, Defected, Toolroom, Subliminal, WePlay and many more. The type of style that is typical for Sugarstarr can be described as Deep-Funky-Techhouse with Vocals & Soul. One of his latest releases was called "Hey Sunshine"​ an hit the #1 in the Beatport-Charts for 8 weeks in a row nad #2 All-Over . It's supported by the likes of Claptone, EDX, Oliver Heldens, Fedde Le Grand, and many many more. The early releases and achievements in his almost 20 years lasting career was along his partner Syke. Thus the project was called Syke'n'Sugarstarr. They cemented their reputation as premier producers and DJs with a string of releases which where also supported by the A-League of the Electronic Dance Music Scene, incl. Mark Knight, Tiesto, Bob Sinclar Kaskade, David Guetta. One of the biggest tunes they ever produced was the collaboration with Housemusic-Legend CeCe Rogers and the reincarnation of the classic "No Love Lost"​ which was three weeks the "Essential New Tune Of the Week"​ of Pete Tong's  Show on BBC Radio 1. Back to Sugarstarr as a solo-artist, which he now embodies since 2014 with huge success. Beside a long list of releases such as "Ticket 2 Ride"​ "Are You Watching Me"​, "Like That Sound"​ or "My Belief"​  it's one more to mention here. It's about the 2014 collaboration with Redman & Method Man (Wu-Tang Clan) in a different way, as Goh. The track called „I Used To Be“ and sat well on the No. 1 position on Beatport for six (!) weeks in a row too. This newly created style combined Nu Disco with Rap & Hip Hop elements. But - the most appealing aspect of Sugarstarr is just how fresh he sounds. Both with his productions and his DJ'ing, which, as anyone who has seen him behind the decks will know, is as diverse and experimental as his studio work.
