Sunny Suzuki is a small 15 year old, indie hip hop and rap artist/producer out of Birkenhead, local to Liverpool. Known for his interesting and complex interludes and stories, combined with his simple and emotion filled beats and his unique style and clothing choices, Sunny’s small but meaningful discography has pushed against UK Hip-Hop’s boundaries, and what can be done by child artists.

At the age of 15, Sunny released his first mixtape, “The Blue Tape.” which was well received by local artists and collaborators of his, as his first year or so making beats had truly hit the spotlight, and made him into a family celebrity.

Soon after this, Sunny released "TRASHHEEP" a small mixtape about life in Britain and to further showcase his music skills and creation overall, using the tools he now has started to master, whilst also adding even deeper meanings and inspirations from other artists, and people that have influenced his life and growth as both a human being, and as a producer. 


As a small indie artist, Sunny has attempted to create interesting, spiritually rich and creative beats that represent his life experience, and the styles of many of his favourite artists, the most notable being Kanye West, Tyler The Creator, Kendrick Lamar, Mac Miller, Frank Ocean and Joey Bada$$, along with his upbringing and experiences with life in general. 

Much like Kanye West or Kendrick Lamar, the style and evolution of Suzuki’s music has stayed constant, but with changes of style, influences and type, the public discography and unreleased mixtapes of Sunny’s has become an unique blend of multiple hip-hop and rap styles, inspired by artists, and their representations of music within their albums. A good example of this would be “Flower Boy” by Tyler The Creator, which remains as Sunny’s most important and favourite album of all time, which constantly is referenced, referred and inspired by, in all of Sunny’s projects thus far, and his style, mentality and sampling/narrative style, have followed the direction that this album set out for him.

As the rollout and development of new projects persist, time will tell if Sunny’s work will be praised on a global scale, as he continues to produce music and beats for a small but loyal and close audience of family and friends.

Currently, Sunny’s newest project and goal, is to start releasing his album “TRASHHEEP” as a deluxe exclusive physical CD, to be gifted and purchased to fund new equipment and quality projects.
