Gladio Operations closes 2024 with its tenth release, which bears the signature of the German producer Elektrotechnik.

This EP, entitled Kontrast, comprises three original tracks and two remixes. The A-side starts with Sigma, a rogue track with light trance touches and an appropriate psychedelic bass line. 
Russian producer Larionov returns to Gladio and gifts us his fantastic vision of Sigma, turning it into a more energetic piece destined exclusively for the hottest dancefloors. 
Side A ends with Kontrast, a track of aggressive rhythms and moulded with powerful dark textures.

On the B-side, we encounter Die Bestie, perhaps the most robust track and possessor of disturbing and tenebrous harmonies, an enigmatic journey with no return. 
The owners of the UHF label get back on track by creating remixes, being in charge of closing the EP, and offering us a deeper and more cosmic approach than the original track.

TIGERCAST stands as an engaging monthly podcast series, streaming on Fade Radio.
Its primary mission is to provide a platform for a wide-ranging spectrum of artists, each contributing to the elaborate and diverse landscape that defines the immersive realm of Electro.

UHF is a Spanish electro duo founded by José Castillo and David Aragón. As old-school DJs, they are highly respected in the Madrid electronic music scene and are undoubtedly influenced by New Beat, EBM, Synth-Pop, and Detroit sounds.

Their journey as producers began in 2014 with the release of their first single, “Breakers Life,” which was featured in the compilation Madrid City Breakers. This compilation pays tribute to a group of Madrid breakdancers from the late ’80s and was released as a cult double EP, including tracks by Boris Divider, E.R.P., and Luke Eargoggle, among other artists. It was issued by Gladio Operations, who later became partners in the label.

Episode 482 Meet Me At The Gazebo, There's A Concert At 6

Although the heat has arrived in Madrid, we have been flooded with music. New records, electronic nights and even opportunities in the booth. So much inspiration in this edition. On the one hand, the re-release of Gravity by Monolake and we have more examples of techno by Stasis, martinou and Ryan James Ford. In April, I shared the booth with our mate Kubo at Nueva Montacargas and we have some stuff we played for a fantastic night. The root of the music that night is IFM and we just got back from The Hague where they put on an unforgettable weekend. We were there with good friends and met more like Robyrt Hecht and Otto Kraanen. There are no words on this planet; out of this world! More and more, District 91 nights, transmission is from Kintsugi with the Undancel team; we have been there and their influence is included with acid, braindance, electro, house, italo and techno records.
