Lee Cee is a DJ from Paisley, UK. She started playing vinyl in '97 and has always brought an eclectic sensibility to her sets, with varied tastes often focused on techno, acid and electro. She began her journey on the underground Free Party scene as well as her hometown club, the legendary Club 69 in 2002. Lee has played alongside well-renowned selectors such as DJ Pierre, Nightwave, Co-Accused, Dixon Avenue Basement Jams and Jerome Hill. She has also been a resident for Tech-Know Radio on Glasgow’s Groove City station since 2019.

ELECTRO EMPIRE presents TRANSITS OF TONE [EE-008]

UK Electro classics! Originally released on the Immortal Combat EP via British label Panic Trax in 1995, the two main songs Rhythm Warfare and Battle Zone also became known through several compilations of the late 90s New School Electro wave, including Dave Clarke‘s seminal 1998 Electro Boogie mix release.

Carefully remastered, this long-overdue rerelease is now available on Electro Empire, sub-label to Germany‘s Dominance Electricity, in digital formats, as well as limited edition black and red 12-inch vinyl.

Kim Cosmik: A visionary shaping the soundscapes of tomorrow.

Prepare to dive into the unparalleled journey of a trailblazer in electronic music whose influence and dedication have shaped the underground scene across decades. Starting as a DJ with iconic free party soundsystems Spiral Tribe and Bedlam, Kim carved her path by becoming one of the first women to play at the legendary Knowledge Club in London, breaking barriers and setting the stage for her enduring career.

In 1993, she co-founded Void Records with Chantelle Platter, in partnership with Hotmix/Bunker Records in Holland, releasing two seminal singles before moving to Matador/EMI for three more groundbreaking records. Exploring new realms as DJ Siren and Blaze, Kim delved into the drum and bass movement, releasing tracks on Spectrum Audio/Alphamagic and earning recognition through a remix by Dylan of Therapy Records.

Kim’s influence spans beyond production; her collaborations have brought her to stages alongside iconic names such as Lory D, Colin Dale, Serge Clone, Radioactiveman, Jumping Jack Frost, Liberator, and Dave The Drummer. From Fold, Electrowerks, and The Glove That Fits in London to Berlin’s About Blank, and renowned festivals like Shambala, her performances are a testament to her dynamic versatility and magnetic presence.

A driving force behind today’s electronic music scene, Kim is a resident at Threads Radio, Aaja Radio, and Techno Club Net. In 2019, she launched her own event series, Hybrid, a showcase of her ever-evolving artistic vision. Through her label Cybersoul, Kim channels her creativity with releases on Bandcamp, alongside projects for respected imprints such as Science Cult, 2020 Vision Recordings, Diffuse Reality, Touched Music, Section 27, Bass Agenda, and Zwaartekracht. 

With a lineup of exciting events and releases planned for 2025, Kim Cosmik remains a cornerstone of the electronic music landscape, crafting soundscapes that are as innovative as they are timeless.
