This is my version of the Vivaldi Trio’s Christmas Time is Here, which was originally featured in A Charlie Brown Christmas in 1965. It is a classic holiday story that stuck for me, and the music more so. I wanted to honor that with Ukulele Bass cover version of the song. I tried to release this last year but missed the Xmas deadline, and no one really heard it. I am re-releasing it this year. If you were one of the 6 listens I got on the previous track, you’ll notice some differences, key being lack of vocals. In general, I do feel like vocals in bass music are often optional, and so I decided to forgo them on this track as I do most of my tracks.

When I first started this track I intended for it to be a full acoustic ukulele song. I also wanted to write some lyrics for it. Sadly nothing that was worthy came unto me. So it somehow evolve into the track you are listening to now. I just threw on some dancey drums made some chops and called it a dance track.
