Monochrome presents, 𝖕𝖗𝖎𝖓𝖙𝖊𝖒𝖕𝖘 𝓥 : Roxane, Ultra Rec. / Combine Soundsystem.

This spring, Monochrome is offering each month to one or several artists to discover their influences and inspirations through a forty-five minute to two hour recording. These three recordings will focus on percussive rhythms between Ambient, Deep Techno and Drum & Bass.

Artist biography :
Resident artist at Ultra Rec. and member of Lyon's Combine Soundsystem collective. Roxane shapes her musical universe through intense, progressive sets. Between dub, bass music, breakbeat and deep techno, she creates a mystical soundscape marked by the raw energy of the English scene and the powerful sounds of dub soundsystems.

Hey guys! I heard a SICK mashup by Rockets, of Mark Sixma & VIVID - Cyanide vs. Travis Scott - FEIN! (so full credit to him for that!), and as it got to the breakdown I heard a sound that reminded me of something! 

After a bit of digging (it doesn't happen often at all but my mind went completely blank and I couldn't for the life of me think what it was - so frustrating), I found the original track I was looking for -  Explode by Jordan & Baker! 

I got to work on it, using R3SPAWN's new big room techno version for a heavier mainstage drop, and this is how it ended up!

I've supported legends such as Scooter, Darren Styles, Ben Nicky and Blasterjaxx as a Hellfire resident, and also play a monthly Bottomless Brunch at home in Northwich, which is mainly house, charts and classics (and the vibe is absolutely CLASS!), as well as a residency at my local pub which is a massive mix right through from house to clubland!
