  Hailing from his hometown of Atlanta, Joel Shapiro, aka J Lumen has been an avid musician for over 15 years.  After playing in numerous bands with a variety of instruments between 1995-2003, Joel eventually gravitated to solo projects, including turntablism, guitar, vocals, and piano.  After spending 5 yrs in the Army He has come back to ATL to pursue his music.
Since his return he has quickly earn a foothold in the Atlanta market, playing events with headliners such as DJ Dara, BARE, Cyberoptics, Phutureprimitive, Arion, LoIq, and Gustolabs.  His passion and versatility during his performances make for an incredibly high energy vibe mixed with melodic vocals.

  




Forward thinking DJ, VJ and Producer – Fonkah has crafted a sound that absolutely destroys dance floors wherever he touches down. Fusing deep and powerful drum and bass with massive tech and neurofunk vibes, Fonkah delivers soundscapes of twisted ambient funk alongside earth shattering basslines and bombastic breaks.
