DJ Dzol is a seasoned DJ with a passion for music that spans over two decades. With humble beginnings in the late 1990s, he cut his teeth playing at clubs and house parties around Adelaide, South Australia, before finding his niche in the early 2000s as a pioneer of psychedelic trance at the famed Goa Central outdoor doof parties in the Adelaide region.
His talent and dedication to his craft led him to host his own radio show on Dance 100 radio station, where he shared the airwave time slot with other notable DJs such as Ahhh, LX, and Nafe. DJ Dzol's music quickly gained a reputation for its unique blend of driving beats and mind-altering melodies, drawing crowds to his sets like moths to a flame.
In addition to his radio success, DJ Dzol was also heavily involved in the psychedelic party scene, co-founding the legendary Mayanstream event at Earth nightclub, which became an iconic night in the Adelaide nightlife. He was also a regular fixture at various club nights, creating an electric atmosphere with his cutting-edge tracks and innovative mixing techniques.
In 2008, DJ Dzol decided to explore new musical territories and began playing electro house in clubs across Adelaide. His dynamic sets and infectious energy earned him a coveted spot at the infamous Live at the Zoo festival in 2009, where he wowed the crowd on the Circuitree stage with his electrifying performance.
After taking a brief hiatus from DJing to travel and explore new cultures, DJ Dzol found himself drawn back to the decks in 2017, this time in the vibrant nightlife scene of Vietnam's Phu Quoc Island. He quickly became a regular at the esteemed Secret Bar Nightclub, where he continued to captivate audiences with his genre-defying sets that seamlessly blended tech house, melodic techno and indie dance.
Today, DJ Dzol continues to push the boundaries of electronic music, constantly evolving his sound and experimenting with new styles. He has also cultivated a strong online following through his YouTube channel, where he frequently uploads fresh mixes that showcase his ever-evolving musical prowess.
With a rich history in the electronic music scene and an unwavering passion for his craft, DJ Dzol is a true force to be reckoned with.
