Rest In Peace Daren "Daz" Ellis  aka Undercover Agent aka Splash aka M.T.S., legendary hero of the Jungle Drum&Bass scene with so many classic tunes under his belt as producer, and prolific as a DJ on his own Cyndicut FM radio station through decades....Back in the later 90s, his own Juice & Splash Records were at the absolute top of the game and constantly pushing new sounds and flavours for the ravers, back in the days of the whitelabel release...The label logos were an immediate sign of quality releases, with promos highly in demand and always well-sought after....I remember my heroes DJ Hype https://soundcloud.com/playazrecordings, Randall https://soundcloud.com/mac2recordings and Brockie https://soundcloud.com/undilutedandoctave rinsing out "Five Tones" in every set on tape back in '98....Thank you Daren for all the raw and eternal vibes that blew our collective minds, from the '94 Jungle anthems to the darker '98 Drum&Bass rollers, may you find rest in eternal heavenly peace....thank you to the legend that is Dan Donnelly and all at https://soundcloud.com/suburbanbaserecords for the magnificent Juice & Splash Box Collection set, what an absolute gem to own...Much love & biggest respect, big up! Ryck from Berne Switzerland plays different styles of D&B Jungle since '97, co-hosted the monthly D&B radioshow "RaBass 95.6 FM" from 2005 to 2018, launched the monthly Bern Bass Podcast-Series in 2014, and co-promoted the Liquid Session D&B-Eventseries at Dachstock Reitschule Berne until 2024. More recently, Ryck launched the label bernbassrecords.bandcamp.com with the goal to focus on Swiss artists exclusively.
