Narc Abuse is a song singing about a journey that most likely anyone else who has ever dealt with a narcissist, can relate to. I'm hearing about narcissists more than ever before here in 2024!!! I'm glad people are bringing awareness about this because when I went through my experience I had no idea it was even a thing! And I always see the good in people, I was very naive. This is a song telling story, and I felt like writing more of a quicker jingle type of song. 
To anybody who has to deal with a narcissist in their life, let this be a song you can put on your playlist to help you cope through the hard days you have to deal with them. This song says "Here's, to truth!" Like yayyy good for us we see the truth, but dang, we got walked on, used, and disrespected in so many ways, wellph that's "Narc Abuse" for you. I didn't even know what a narcissist was til I went through my experience! And yeah, I'm not embarrassed to admit it did give me and the people around me sadly, "trauma." But we've grown through it, and it's made us stronger, and closer too might I add. And it gave us a strong radar for recognizing when people are being authentic or throwing baloney at you.

Friday - Kicking off the festivities is the Joining Hearts WeekendTM Opening Event on Friday, July 26th, 2024, at the Heretic, featuring the one and only DJ Jace M all the way from Miami! Let's dance the night away as we ignite the weekend in style!

When Joining Hearts held its first main event in 1987 there was little known about HIV/AIDS. The world began to recognize its grave importance, and so our founders stepped up to start helping people living with HIV/AIDS in Atlanta. And now, 37 years later, the metro Atlanta community is in an HIV/AIDS crisis. While some other major cities in the country are seeing virtually no new HIV infections, Atlanta is seeing new infections at numbers we haven't seen since the 1980s. 

Every day, there is a wide range of organizations working to stop the spread of HIV throughout Atlanta. We can't support them without your continued support.  It is just as important today as it was 37 years ago to support this cause; to support the local organizations and people that are fighting to stop the spread of the HIV virus and helping people who are living with the disease.  Since 1987, Joining HeartsTM has been an all-volunteer organization and has donated more than $3 million to our local Atlanta beneficiaries.

Dan Slater is an Australian DJ and Producer based in the United States.

After years in the club scene as one of the most in demand dancers and show producers, Dan’s love of music eventually lured him onto the decks – and this new chapter has gained him the attention of promoters and clubbers around the world.

He has been bringing his upbeat, chunky house sound to dance floors across the globe, and his talent for sculpting the energy of a party is in a league of its own. Jace’s passion and talent for music has established himself as one of the world’s favorite DJs. 

Originally from Washington, DC, Jace M began his DJ journey in 2002. While attending university, Jace took advantage of his free time to learn how to DJ. By 2005, Jace had landed a residency at Necto Nightclub, the largest Gay Nightclub in the Detroit Area.

In addition to being an accomplished DJ, using his club life experience, Jace produces and promotes the largest gay events in Detroit under the name Thots & Prayers. With six different event brands under his belt, his accomplishments continue to expand. 

Jace also spends time in the studio as well and recently released a single with singer Joey Diamond. He’s also released numerous other remixes where he’s collaborated with people like Joe Gauthreaux, Mauro Mozard, and his frequent production buddy, Toy Amrada.
