I'm Gonna Love You

Inspired by the rare snowy day in North Carolina, "Lonesome Valentine" is a song about love, longing, and rough weather. Think of it as the meteorological inverse of "Blue Skies." With this recording, the Motor Inns venture deep into blues rock territory, interpreting "Lonesome Valentine" with overdriven guitar and electric bass. Like the other Motor Inn projects so far, audio inspiration for this arrangement came in large part from a 1966 Fender Coronado II. Its overdriven DeArmond pickups are one of the song's main textures (the right channel of the mix if you're listening in stereo). For any gear heads, a full post about the equipment used in "Lonesome Valentine" will be featured on DIYRockAndRoll.com. There, I'll also talk about influences and the creative process, and I'll link to the original recording of Lonesome Valentine by Peetie Nixon.

OMGG – Only Your Love [Live at Electric Cactus, Dallas]

Another chapter in the OMGG “Dallas Live Series”. 💜

Recorded live at Electric Cactus in Dallas, this track is OMGG’s big AOR ballad moment of the night: an emotional duet between Gigi and Mark built around the idea of “only your love” holding someone together when everything else falls apart.

The title and emotional universe are inspired by Robby Valentine’s song “Only Your Love”, but this Dallas live version is an OMGG composition and perspective: new lyrics, new melody and a new 80s-style arena arrangement written for this show. The original “Only Your Love” and its composition remain the property of Robby Valentine and the respective rights holders; this track simply tips its hat to that classic feeling and carries it into OMGG’s world.

On stage, the band strips the arrangement down to warm piano and clean guitars, slowly building into a full, hands-in-the-air chorus while Electric Cactus sings “only your love” back at them. Gigi and Mark trade lines like a late-night conversation on the edge of breaking and healing, and for a few minutes the whole club becomes one big confession booth.

This is part of the Dallas Live Series, capturing the softer, heart-on-sleeve side of OMGG between the heavier tracks and neon hip hop moments.

Ikoliks is a versatile music producer from Kyiv, Ukraine, known for crafting video-oriented music that spans a range of genres. From soothing acoustic folk tunes to high-energy rock anthems, his compositions are tailored for commercial use. With significant experience in producing music for major TV shows, Ikoliks has established himself as a go-to name in the industry for compelling, audience-engaging music.

Busky Valentine is born and raised in Reno, Nevada, burning man city. This artist is highly experienced in the music business and has played drums, guitar and sang in multiple bands since 2009, having played over 1,000 shows all over the United States.

In 2009 Busky Valentine joined the highly successful Pop-EDM group known as CRUSH; they sold out many shows and gained a massive following. In 2014 they took 2nd place in a competition on RyanSeacrest.com and shared the stage with acts such as Berner, Dev, 3oh!3, Floater, Whitney Meyer, Alke and many other major artists. CRUSH also performed at event called "Bands For Bernie" during the 2016 Presidential election where Dick Van Dyke introduced them before their set. The band even got the attention of the manager for Credence Clearwater Revisited, who offered to manage them.

From 2015 to 2019 Busky Valentine was a drummer and vocalist in a cover band that performed in casinos, restaurants and bars all over the west coast working for an agency called T.E.I. Entertainment(Sheryl Crow is also employed by T.E.I.). In April of 2019, Busky Valentine left CRUSH and resigned from T.E.I. Entertainment to pursue his solo career full time.
