The prompt felt quite similar to several recent ones so in an attempt to not do the same again I went dowl the experimental route and thus diverged from the obvious interpretation of the haiku, the fake carillon is definitely mot the bright moonlight that inspired it.

Everything created in VCV Rack, all experiments combined into a unified patch, multiple outputs, mapped physical controls. Starting with a rough plan I hit record and improvised. One take, what you hear is what you get. 

Other than mastering Chaim EQ, etc. the only additional effects added was a touch of Chery Audio's Stardust 201 Tape Delay, added to the sequence. the sequence was distinctly mono in the wider stereo field, I tried the usual widening suspects but found Stardust gave the most pleasing result.

I'm primarily a visual artist both 2D and 3D, for the last decade I've operated almost exclusively in the digital 3D realm.   since the late 80s I've made periodic forays into the sonic world, MIDI sequencing, minimalism, musique concrète, found sounds  and improvisation. I am seldom happy with anything and seldom consider a piece finished.
