This was my first time making the melody of a track from scratch, and I'm very proud of how it came out! Once I tried out this Yamaha guitar sound (aka the Sega Genesis guitar), it reminded me of the title theme from Jurassic Park Rampage Edition, so I went for a hard metal/industrial style with that guitar pitched way down low. The end result also feels a bit like the Quake soundtrack to me. I was worried this might be a little TOO dark sounding for Unlucky but my boss loved it! :)

I write songs for the worlds I get obsessed with, and “Solo Raider” comes straight out of my ARC Raiders addiction. Think post-apocalyptic, sci-fi raid energy with a big, shout-along chorus for anyone who queues solo and still walks out stacked.
