NOTSOPAIA é um projeto de DJ e Produção Musical formado por Gabriel Soares e Ian Alcântara, naturais e residentes em Belo Horizonte/MG.

O conceito do “paia” surgiu em junho de 2024, entre um grupo de amigos que apreciam diferentes vertentes da música e que se reúnem com o simples propósito de ouvir, descobrir e compartilhar sons. Dessa vivência nasceu a vontade de materializar essa energia coletiva em um projeto artístico que refletisse a autenticidade, leveza e a conexão que a música proporciona.

Assim, Gabriel e Ian deram origem ao NOTSOPAIA, um duo que une pesquisa musical autêntica e preciosismo na elaboração de sets para criar experiências de pista únicas.Foi então que o duo passou a trilhar seu caminho pelos clubs da capital mineira, explorando sonoridades que permeiam o Indie Dance e o Tech House.

"Amazing"...is the only way to describe the performances of this magician of the turntables, this tamer of the dancefloors 'nocturnal animals . Excitement and effervescence are part and parcel of all his performances because Majed LeRouge has actually been perfecting his art since the age of 12. He has taken the time to work on his technique and programming and no longer has any hang-ups about mixing electronic music, especially in house, tech house and techno music. The Indo-Pakistani subcontinent influences greatly the way he conceives music, giving this specific style the name of Spicy House Music.
