This debut track is about loyalty. The progressive piano & sultry saxophone heard throughout, guide you through a story, describing the modern-day accessibility to romantic temptation. 'Dessert's' climax is a messy and strong-bodied conclusion to which listeners may relate if they have been in the protagonist's shoes. This track highlights the importance of monogamy, and the fragility of trust, in any relationship. 

Written in 2019, around the peak time of online dating in my social circle, 'Dessert' should evoke a complex cocktail of human feelings and emotions promoting self determination and choice. Similar to those found by my friends during this period.

We wanted to be faithful to the natural talent of the musicians as much as possible during the recording of this song so that it could be replicated live. The piano, saxophone, guitar & bass were recorded in the studio live creating this upbeat & stompy composition.

This song is unapologetically pop and fun with a catchy back beat which is something of an earworm. This summery track evokes feelings of holidays in the sun, dancing around your kitchen and smooching your loved ones. Made to make you feel good, this happy song expresses how people feel about their partners and the love that's shared between them. 

I wrote this song in 2015 aged 14 - which is a touch saucy for that age but my nerdy budding teenage years, allowed me to imagine what it might be like to be in a relationship. I was then able to live vicariously through my music. 

During production, we wanted to create a real bubbly track that can evoke feelings of elation & delight. Inspired by the action of bobbing one's head upon hearing a song, this track is packed full of sound nuggets that add to the playful nature of this piece and warrant a second listen, so as to not miss any. Similarly to my previous track 'Dessert', this song was produced so that it can be replicated live without losing too much character.

Valise is a hearty house track, inspired by the thumping soul of New Orleans, which transpires in the infectious beat & groovy lyrics.

As we enter the summer months, the right song is essential in setting the perfect vibe & that's the objective of Valise.

Singer/songwriter/musician.
Vinther (pronounced Vin-ter) is a new sound hailing from the south coast of the UK.  She is a singer, and songwriter with a lot of sass and an eclectic taste and discography which spans multiple genres from Jazz and Blues, Latin and Mainstream to Contemporary Commercialised Pop.  Vin-ter has a really classy sound with a unique and rich voice spanning several octaves.  She puts as much time into the melody as she does the original lyrics - each song is powerful with a deep meaning spanning the spectrum of human emotion.  In 12 months she has gone from playing piano and singing by herself to having recruited a fantastic band, multiple tracks make it to the BBC introducing playlist, selection as track of the day, headlining at the “Futuresoundcollective” and performing at her own BBC live lounge which is no mean feat from a standing start.  2025 promises to be her breakthrough year, she has surrounded herself with talented musicians & is preparing to appear at a festival near you.
