nostradahm is Alex Dahm, an aspiring architect, designer, DJ, and music producer based in Los Angeles.

Alex has performed as a DJ at Coachella, Splash House, Pattern Bar, Ace Hotel DTLA, Melody, and other prominent venues around Southern California, as well as hosted over 30 radio shows for a UK-based online platform, Crate Digs (@crate-digs). His tracks and DJ sets seamlessly weave together his wide ranging influences from house, techno / dub techno, UK garage, drum and bass, disco, to new wave, industrial, post-punk, and even ambient, classical, jazz, and hip-hop.

Alex's musical journey began as a child watching his grandmother play songs like Moonlight Sonata and Claire De Lune on the piano which inspired him to want to learn to play his first instrument, the cello, and later on as a teenager—the guitar. As his interests in making music progressed, he taught himself a variety of production techniques and started writing and recording his own material using drum machines, synthesizers, and guitar loops he writes in his home studio.

Working full time as an architect/designer also has an influence on how he shapes his tracks—each piece of music is like a page from an audio sketchbook—concepts, ideas, collages, and daydreams.
