Hello, and welcome.
This channel is for anyone who finds healing through music.  I hope you enjoy the mix of covers and my originals.  I’m singing and writing my way through grief — one song at a time.  Drop me a comment if you find healing in my tunes.  You've come to the right place to heal through music.

I record everything myself in GarageBand: lead vocals, layered harmonies, acoustic rhythm guitar, V-Drums, and percussion, bringing in outside stems only when a song calls for extra texture. This is a true DIY process — heartfelt, handmade, and built on a shoestring — but one grounded in constant learning and growth. I’ve been deeply immersed in mixing and mastering so these songs can finally move beyond demo form and fully become what they’re meant to be.

My signature sound is acoustic-driven music anchored by a wide vocal range and rich three- and four-part harmonies. I move between genres depending on the emotional truth of each song, but I always stay honest. I’m a bit of a throwback — a rocker-hippie soul writing from the heart, unfiltered and real.

I spent years performing covers in Las Vegas and the San Francisco Bay Area, drawing from rock, jazz, pop, funk, and beyond. After stepping away from music to focus on family, life eventually brought me to the Olympic Peninsula in Washington. Surrounded by forest, ocean, and the distant silhouette of Vancouver Island, I found a quiet peace I hadn’t known before. 

That process reopened a creative door I thought had closed. Poetry and lived experience turned into songs, and over the next year and a half I wrote more than 30 of them — stories shaped by loss, resilience, and the slow work of moving forward.

When I perform live, I work as a one-woman band using my Garage Band recordings as backing tracks to sing live.  Technology makes this journey possible, and I’m deeply grateful for it.  

To Erika, Rachel, Brooklynn, Rylie, and Lukas — you are forever in my heart. This music is the legacy of love I carry forward for you. I used to sing you songs all the time. Since losing you in 2019, writing and performing has been how I survive that loss, honor it, and keep love alive. I will never stop hoping to see you again.

Busayo Yetunde Popoola, popularly known as Hephzibah, is a dedicated and passionate gospel minister  and the CEO of Hephzibah Concept, a business growing enterprise based in Lagos State, Nigeria known for her soulful voice and uplifting music. Blending contemporary gospel with traditional praise, her songs inspire and draw listeners closer to God. Her ministry is marked by authenticity, faith, and a passion for impacting lives through worship.

Her musical journey began at the tender age of 7 in the choir of First Baptist Church, Afromedia Ajangbadi, where her love for worship and music was nurtured. Over the years, Hephzibah has continued to minister through songs in various churches and Christian gatherings, driven by her deep desire to glorify God and touch lives through music.

In pursuit of this calling, she began recording her songs as a reflection of her love for God. Her first worship medley was released in August, followed by a Praise Medley in October. She went on to release her debut single “EMI MIMO” in November,and later another inspiring track titled “God Is Taking Me Somewhere.”in December.

Hephzibah describes her music as a divine expression that ushers in God’s presence and brings joy to her soul. With every song, she aims to go deeper into her ministry, exploring more sounds and honing her craft to impact the world through gospel music.
