This song has been "almost done" for what feels like most of my production career. Originally the title was a joke, but it became solidified at some unknown point. I wanted the backing track to sound as alien and unforgiving as the singer feels, after all it's a song meant to empathize and encourage all the introverts in the world.

I wanted to make this sound like a timeless folk song, I've always loved myths and fables (though probably not to the obsessive level as the traveler in this song). Overall, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, especially the fiddle parts. 



Although it's a fairly serious song, I entertained myself with how the guide would describe what occurred after she made her way back to the village "Pa, you would not believe what just happened --"
