Had the honor of playing direct support for Slushii during his stop in Seattle for his tour. 
With the show being sold out and the crowd being one of the roundest I’ve ever seen, I can safely say that I’ve never had more fun playing a set live before. 

This set is full of some of the deepest bass tracks in my library, and I had an emphasis on playing tunes from my favorite up and comers, such as Zingara, Kimati, Tape B,  just john,  Evalution, and many more. 

Hope you all enjoy listening to it half as much as I enjoyed playing it :)

Originally from the UK, James Sambell–known professionally as D!SCORD–moves back and forth between Vancouver and Victoria, BC, Canada. Depending on the event and its conditions, D!SCORD indulges the Bass Music scene, with a secondary focus on House Music and a tertiary focus on (Melodic) Techno, Deep Tech, and Electronica. The artist yearns to enrich the human experience through sound and space with performances contrasted and illuminated through what the artist labels "emotional diversity," involving a multiplex system of feeling based on varying subgenres melding to engender a gradually shifting but tenacious atmosphere. His performances become enriched by inspirations adapted through interactions with individuals, activities, technology, and experiences that ensure distinction in every set.
	D!SCORD has played at countless official and unofficial shows in Ontario, Whistler, and Vancouver, as well as on Vancouver Island. He is grateful to have shared stages with rising artists Nokturnal Funk and Ketafere, and Shambhala alumni, Aspen King and Kermode. And he continues to seek opportunities to connect with, share, and shape experiences with other like-minded artists. 
	D!SCORD has released two guest mixes on the @threerecordsuk label and is working toward guest mixes on @wildlife_division and other labels suited to the direction in which he seeks to progress his brand. Slowly delving into production, the artist plans to graduate from The University of Victoria before participating in formal music education to expand his musical perspectives and gain traction within his career pathway.  
	Holistically, D!SCORD seeks continual expansion of his
network within which he seeks to foster positive, mutually beneficial relationships built on integrity and respect. He constantly searches for new opportunities to perform while involving and sharing experiences with his following and pursuing the maintenance and further development of a safe, inclusive, and vibrant musical space.

Gus, under the moniker Batsy, is a Mexican American and native New Yorker who seamlessly blends his love of bass music and hip hop to create a dark yet dynamic soundscape throughout his mixes. While Freeform Bass is one of the newest EDM subgenres, he incorporates old school hip hop vocals and 808’s to find home in nostalgia.

Vakero (vuh·keh·row)>> Choppy shit <<

Vakero is Gus's second project, a much more gritty and heavy type of sound that mixes his love for aggressive Dubstep. He fell in love with the genre in the early years of Dubstep listening to artists like Excision, Caspa and Emalkay and blends the OGs with all of the new and underground producers in the scene making a heavy blend of headbanging music for the old and new crowd.

One of my favorite inventions is the subwoofer.

Dustin Haze is a Mixed Genre Electronic Music Producer from Phoenix, Arizona. After over a decade of refining his skill & music tastes as a DJ, he finally decided to pursue his lifelong goal of making his own music. Never satisfied with one or few styles, his ultimate goal is to be able to make a piece of music in any genre or fusion that create the right beats for any mood or space. Real instrumentation combined with heavy bass elements & electronic accents can be expected in any given piece along with regular changes in drum pacing, melody & tempo to maintain a strong progression.
