As winter draws nearer, a field of flowers withers away. Once filled with joy and beauty, their colors begin to fade away. Their time was only temporary, and their hues and luster were just fleeting. One can only remember the beauty they had before the days grew darker.


This piece is about the passage of time, and how nothing we do can stop it. What will happen is to happen, and while we cannot stop what is to be we can decide to make the most of the time we have. We can live the meaningful lives we want to live, so long as we recognize that they aren't to last forever on this earth.
