Bane

Variance is a project born from the need to express ourselves without filters, to turn our essence into music. The answer lies within the name: three unique elements, each with different stories and shades, coming together to create something greater. We do not seek to conform but to amplify our differences.
Our sound emerges from the fusion of alternative rock, electronic music, and experimentation. We strive for balance between instinct and exploration, between the need to let go and the urge to delve deep. Each song is a step forward, a dialogue between the motion of our music and the meaning behind our stories. Independent and self-produced, an expression of freedom, growth, and constant discovery.
Because Variance is not just what we play—it is the way we choose to exist.
After several experiences in other local bands, the trio decided to join forces to create a new sound blending elements from modern pop, alternative rock and electronic music.
Variance’s influences include artists such as Muse, PVRIS, 30 Seconds To Mars and The 1975.
The debut album “Sight From A Lucid Dream,” released last Jan. 20, is entirely self-produced by the band, and marks the debut on the music scene for Variance. It was preceded by the singles: “Mystery,” “Underwater” and “Tale of Redemption” released in 2022.
In 2023 the band shared stages with Destrage, The Offspring, Simple Plan, Billy Talent, Enter Shikari and many others.
