after having prepared intensively for a special live-event hosted by naviar records on Nov 24 2024, I recorded a final version of "subcut elegy" in full length. 

subcut elegy presents itself as a musical exploration of what lies beneath the surface—beneath the skin, beyond overt emotions and behaviors. By incorporating field recordings and sonic discoveries, and intertwining these with musical patterns, it creates a deeply personal narrative. Especially the last 4 minutes.

In an instant geysers of ice cream came exploding through 
For miles around the roads collapsed and waves of cream spelled doom
The city around me was swallowed and smothered in 100 feet of ice cream wherever there was room
Thousands of people were swept up or frozen over, many screamed and asked what to do
I was sheltered in a bubble high above by my sinister shoes
Helpless and troubled, I watched an entire city wiped out and dessert entombed

In this special we speak with Nadia with Wedge Workers (https://www.instagram.com/wedgeworkers/) who are Co-op staff from both Wedge Lyndale (UFCW 1189) and Wedge Linden Hills (UFCW 663). Nadia, who works at the Lyndale location, where a recent picket was held, talks about the fight for freedom of expression at work. (A note: this picket was not a strike action.)

A new policy was created at the Wedge to target expression of solidarity with the Palestinian People and the call for a Free Palestine! But the ramifications of the policy could go further down the road of the significant restrictions to speech going on across American society under the Trump regime.

Workers are currently continuing to call for the community and Co-op Members to reach out to Co-op CEO Nick Seeberger to express support for the workers rights to free expression and in opposition to the new policy. (Note: Workers are not calling for any kind of boycott of the business at this time.)

Winchester (formerly known as Wedge) returns with Liquid Crystal State, a striking 4-track EP that fuses the heavyweight pressure of his Bristol dubstep roots with the intricate sound design of his experimental solo work.

Inspired by the microscopic grids and labyrinthine circuits of LCD screens, the EP explores technological decay and perceptual distortion. Each track channels these hidden architectures—fragments of data, voltage, and interference—into raw, rhythmic forms. The results are physical, break driven, and industrial, yet laced with nuance and sculptural precision.

With a legacy of genre-defying collaborations (Dot Product with Raiden, Wrecked Lightship with Appleblim), Winchester continues to blur the lines between club energy and avant-garde abstraction. On Liquid Crystal State, jungle, footwork, dark dubstep, and UK bass influences collide in a sound that’s built for both movement and disorientation - inviting the listener to lose themselves inside the maze.

G-Dada: Born with an extra non registered name of, Dada. Brought the name forward when I was in a group called class a in the early 2000 era. The other members decided to bring the title of General to the name, and since I left I decided to shorten it to G, as In G Dada, collaborating with family members, but mostly making music on my own, in my home studio, where my music still resides today, only being part of the collective of showcase smoothie.
