Philip and the Ethiopian Eunuch. Such a good story. I used to think I knew what this story was about - that I had it all figured out. But this story has depth, and layers, and we can learn so much more from it than we maybe expect. The basic read is that we should all be like Philip and courageously tell people about the good news of Jesus so that unacceptable outsiders might be changed and become insiders. Hmm...does that interpretation sound familiar? Yeah, there's so much more going on in the story - more than just the eunuch's conversion.

The narrative changes and turns and moves forward when someone asks a good question. Just before sabbatical, I talked about how important questions are - they're doorways that can open up lots of possibilities. This is another example.  So we'll pay attention to the questions.

So here's some context to the eunuch's story. He can't practice his Jewish faith on account of his eunuchness. Spell check is saying I made that word up. Who cares? Now we get to the questions...

1) "How can I understand unless someone explains it to me?" A doorway is open and on the other side is community, relationship, people, help. We all long for it, need it. So we'll talk a bit about that.
2) Is he talking about himself or someone else? The eunuch was struggling with some verses in Isaiah. So Philip connects it to Jesus. It's likely the eunuch saw himself in Jesus - someone who had been pushed aside and rejected. But resurrection, new life is possible through Jesus!
3) "What's preventing me from being baptized?" Yeah, lots of things. He's a queer black foreigner from Ethiopia. He's a eunuch. Don't you know your Hebrew scriptures, Philip? He doesn't belong. We have rules, man. But Philip says nothing. No religious test. He just baptizes him. So the eunuch isn't the only one converted that day; Philip was also converted. He recognizes that Jesus changes everything - that the resurrection changes everything. The Spirit is going to do what the Spirit is going to do - conquer isolation and fear and welcome any one the Spirit wants into the Kingdom of God. The eunuch and Philip were both transformed all because someone asked a good question.

We're left with a question of our own. And it's not a question about how wide God's embrace is. It's not a question about who's in and who's out. The question for us is, will we participate with the wild Spirit of God in our day or not?

Drawing inspiration from the multiple revelations life shares when we are open to giving and receiving from the infinite wisdom of the universe, Mandala has spent two years carefully crafting his new album.

Musical shapes shift gently into place revealing 3D sonic mandalas that echo the geometric nature of all that surrounds us.  As drops in the ocean of consciousness expand and contract from a single point, mandalas are portals to deeper meanings and deeper connections, and Mandala has set his intentions to share this with the world through his music.  

Big bass lines and grooves drive every song on 'Multiple Revelations', with calming atmospheres and progressions layering below funky riffs and other-worldly psychedelic leads.

Full of amazing solo work, 'Multiple Revelations' also features three amazing collaborations, with Tristan, Hypnocoustics and Braincell (as their collaboration project Undercover Babas).

Mandala has done an amazing job at creating an album that gently emanates a feeling for a better world, full of positive affirmations that take listeners on a journey deep within themselves, while still bringing the heat on the dance floor!

Robert Smoke One of the youngest exponents to represent his country his released have reached several major labels across the globe.

Mandala, is Angus Young, a Producer from the U.K. whose passion is creating high quality psychedelic trance with an original organic twist. There is a buzz in the air about this  maestro...and rightly so.
Angus is based between Frome in Somerset UK, and Goa, where he has his studio at his retreat called "The Mandala" which has become a meeting point for the scene over the years. 
Mandala is the Sonic Sage we’ve all been waiting for! Since activating his Psychedelic neurons in India in 1993, he has been travelling the world and has distilled these life experiences and wisdom into the narrative of his music, like a tsunami of inspired frequencies from this dimension and beyond.

His life has been about living, breathing and sharing Psychedelic Music and Art in all its forms.  It is this passion drawn from venturing deep into the unknown that has resulted in his signature sound, that is capable of captivating and elevating the dance floor to the ecstatic peak of the party.

Paying homage to the history of our genre yet maintaining a cutting edge UK Psychedelic vibe, his spiralling melodies weave an intricate tapestry, his daring arrangements challenge the norm and his top quality production all contribute to his live performances that are a unique 'Cosmic Journey”, with the intensity of a truly passionate artist that has created something remarkable. 

Nano records and Angus connected in Goa at his self-built paradise home, and the synergy was instant.  After a string of highly acclaimed Ep releases and collaborations with the likes of Tristan, Pogo, Braincell, Hypnocoustics, zephirus kane and more, Mandala  created his masterpiece of a debut album, inspired by the magic and wonder that flows around us,  "Back To Your Nature". 
More recently, a steady stream of high quality solo releases has earned him some serious respect within the scene...delivering quality every time.
Angus has also teamed up with Ralph Braincell to bring the exciting new project "The Undercover Babas" to Nano records and the world ....Mandala has played at many major festivals all over the planet and has whipped up a unique sonic storm every time. He has developed a reputation for delivering his music in an authentic, passionate and highly energised cosmic way, sending dance floors into a frenzy whenever he takes to the stage

Hi I´m "D.O.T.I." (Dead On The Inside) and I´m 33 years old, from Portugal.
As you can guess I´m a music producer, any genre but I do tend to focus more on Dubstep/EDM and such.
