bite size delirium (wet mix)

At the dawn of this Fall, I surrendered to listening—to sirens and deep belly moans from my computer and various wind instruments. At the same time, I began exploring multiple improvisation sessions with Matej Hrib and his bass clarinet. Our open jams unfolded across my bedroom and studio as I explored ways to weave together an electroacoustic composition, allowing the materials to seep into my digital marshland, where they could mutate and build a new site of resonance.

I am happy to share a prologue from our collaboration, featuring a bass clarinet demo by Matej Hrib that I further digitally sculpted and composed, merging with vignettes of textures and field recordings I collected during my home-residency with Noise Kitchens Bramborack. A big thank you to Matej, for coming together on this!

Extending my playfield of electroacoustic compositions and soundscaping—for a dirge, for immersion, to escape, and to emerge—hopefully bringing you closer to the space around you.
