An immersive and participatory experience to relate to the Maas river through our collective bodies and imaginations. Through this collaborative journey we invite participants to get wet, learn about the history of the Maas, and feel-think different ways of relating to the bodies of water around and within us.

This work was collaboratively produced by Maud van den Beuken, Wim Peumans, Dorien de Wit, and Juan Pablo Pacheco Bejarano, for the "Urgency Intensive: Murmuring Matter" program curated by Bruno Alves de Almeida and Giulia Bellinetti at the Jan van Eyck academie in Maastricht (NL).

Amethyst Amaris Bio

Amethyst Amaris is an artist with a rich catalog of original, non-AI music available on major platforms, showcasing her authentic voice, creativity, and powerful storytelling. Every track is fully written, produced, and performed by Amethyst, capturing her dedication to genuine artistry.

In 2024, she expanded into AI music with her project Æon Purrr, initially sharing these tracks on YouTube alongside custom animatics. The response was so strong that she decided to bring this AI music to SoundCloud as well. Each platform offers a unique experience—her YouTube features exclusive songs and visuals not found on SoundCloud, and vice versa—giving listeners a multi-dimensional passage through her music.

While her original catalog is established on major platforms, Amethyst’s AI work is unfolding dynamically on YouTube and SoundCloud. Soon, she plans to record new tracks over her AI-driven beats, creating an even more seamless blend of her artistic visions.
