Since launching his own label and event series, WHYNOTUS, renowned DJ-producer hybrid Malóne has been dropping Tech and Afro House heaters left and right. Now, WHYNOTUS is releasing its first compilation, featuring six ethnically-charged house tracks. ‘MIAMI GROOVE VA’ will come into fruition on Friday, April 5th.

Leading off the collaborative project is “Get It,” a hypnotic, percussion-heavy single from Amal Nemer. Layered with exotic vocals, this tune sets the precedent of grooviness for the tracks that follow, forged by the likes of Morpei, Damelo, Sounds Of Rituals, Pablo Alhach, Des & Del, DZR, and Sabrosura Boyz.

One element that separates this compilation from the norm is its ability to unite artists from a broad spectrum of different ethnicities and regions. In its entirety, ‘MIAMI GROOVE VA’ represents Venezuela, Nicaragua, Mexico, Guatemala, Bolivia, Cuba, Israel, USA, and a variety of sounds that can be traced back to each nation.
