If you had a musical medicine cabinet, what would be in it? 

Inspired by the healing power of the summer sun, my most intimate mix to date spans soul, jazz, bossa nova, jungle, house, psychedelic funk, dub, hip hop, Japanese pop and RnB, bird chirps and crashing waves from across the world (Thailand, Brazil, Japan, Jamaica, US, UK).

While seemingly random, the common denominator of these songs is their relationship to my soul; I believe music’s power to evoke profound sensory and emotional responses reaches a threshold that's quasi-medicinal, and these are for me. 

Perhaps a fault of being Palestinian and Greek, I have long struggled with seasonal depression and find my greatest healing tools are the sun's rays and sonic vibrations. I have relied on these tracks over the years to get me through it (I'd wager I'd listened to these tracks around a thousand times). 

This is deeply personal to me. In a world I find increasingly numb, impersonal, and insensitive, it becomes ever more pertinent to me to find means to feel alive, and I hope this mix resonates with you in the same way.
