Composed, performed and produced by Christopher Arndt. Made with Ardour 8.1 on Manjaro Linux using 21 instances of the Helm synth plugin and various other FLOSS plugins.

All sounds from Helm. The saxophone sound was played using an Akai EWI USB wind controller and the rhythm guitar with an electric guitar equipped with a Fishman TriplePlay MIDI pickup.

Take the Helm and Engage Fusion Drive

I'm a music enthusiast by compulsion and a software developer by trade hailing from Cologne, Germany. I developed my deep love for synthesizers and sound design in my thirties, although I had been playing various instruments since my childhood and even had a Korg Poly 800 analog synthesizer in my teens.

I have an eclectic taste in music, but I gravitate towards melodic pieces, which tell a story. My compositions also cover a wide variety of styles from synth pop to progressive rock and folk to classical.
