"'Your set is a woman' , a friend told me, a few days after Wisłoujście, and well… I can agree with that. 

Imagine a girl going on a date at the beach with someone she knows she'll probably never see again. There's fun, laughter, conversation. That brief moment of falling in love and the pleasure of physical connection. As night falls, they explore the shore, stumble upon a strange cosmic bunker, and end up at a cave rave. Tension builds from unspoken emotions. Slowly, from dusk till dawn, they find themselves back on the shore, sharing intimate thoughts. Eventually, there’s a goodbye.

As a professional dramaturge and storyteller (yep, I have a degree in that), I like to think every set I play has its own little story. For me, this sunrise closing from  Wisłoujście Szaniec Stage was the perfect moment to tell a story through my records.

I’ve shared a glimpse of the storyline as I felt it. Now, I’m curious—how do you feel this mix? What’s the plot for you?
From a genre perspective, expect some obscure gems from the '90s and '00s. Tribal, a Miami-ish remix of Barbie Girl, loads of progressive house and trance—both old and new. There’s an upcoming track from @dc-salas on @echocentricrecords, a classic Fluke track in a Matrix-inspired cut, one ultra pussycatcher track hehe and of course, a beautiful remix of Silence.

I have to say—I’ll never forget that 'Silence' moment. Definitely one for the books. Thank you

Pierwsze kroki muzyczne sięgają lat 2001/2002. Techniczne umiejętności zdobywała sama, podpatrując starszych stażem kolegów po fachu. Muzyce poświęca bardzo dużo czasu, a jej wybredność co do brzmienia i jakości tracków spotkamy podczas każdego występu w klubie, radio czy podczas regularnych podcastów na profilu Soundcloud. Wychowana na klasykach house`owych i speed garage`ach. Od wielu lat wierna muzyce techno, ale potrafi w swoich setach w świetny sposób połączyć cięższe brzmienia z lżejszym uniesieniem. Najważniejsze live sety: Smolna, Luzztro, Jasna1, Sfinks 700, Drugi Dom, Inqbator, Lab, 8 Bitów, regularnie od 2012r Big Boat Party, SQ na Dziedzińcu, Praga Centrum.

Old-fashioned at heart but always forward-thinking, Virtual Geisha is a DJ, record collector, and educator with deep roots in theater and philosophy. After a decade in the theater world, she pivoted to electronic music in 2014, quickly earning a reputation as one of Poland’s most intriguing selectors, known for her passion for obscure and forgotten records.

Driven by the art of storytelling through sound, she curates immersive musical journeys, with her “It’s VG” project serving as a tribute to the vastness of the musical universe. Focused primarily on 90s and 00s gems that slipped through the cracks of the digital era, she revives hidden treasures that deserve to be played and appreciated.

Virtual Geisha is the curator of the Fresh Faces Stage at Carbon Silesia Festival and a co-creator of Carbon Academy, an educational initiative within the festival. She also contributes to shaping the future of electronic music as a member of the Dance Music Steering Committee at EMMA (European Music Managers Alliance). During the pandemic, she founded the now-closed Pop Up Radio, a platform that supported DJs in uncertain times. Occasionally, she brings her sonic expertise into theater and multidisciplinary art projects as a sound designer.

As the founder of VG DJ LAB, she leads a groundbreaking DJ studio that blends technical training with creative mindset development and industry strategy. In 2023, VG DJ LAB was recognized by HEMI (Hub for the Exchange of Music Innovation)—a European Commission-backed initiative—as one of the top 10 startups offering innovative solutions for the music sector.

She is also the founder of Maiko Agency, a consulting agency that helps emerging artists craft and share their stories through an empathic marketing framework, ensuring their voices are heard in an industry that thrives on authenticity.
