After public demand (mainly from Altai Toprak) and even greater demand (from unseen forces), on the 22 and 23 of November 2025, we realised the first gathering of Tribal, Ancestral, Devotional Music and Ethnic Dances from around the world!

“Mystic Music Medicine Weekend” was born with the goal of uniting music and universal ancestral art within a ritualistic concept, where the music never stops, following the format of a Turkic Sufi ritual.

A sacred space to explore the healing effects of music and art as medicine for the soul!

And I couldn't be happier to celebrate this initiative with special guests.

🌙 I welcomed for the first time the Brazilian musical group Ethereofantes, who brought world fusion, ambient music and elements of philosophical and spiritual traditions in a natural and ethereal form.

💃🏻 I had the privilege to count with the presence of the choreographer and artistic director of Contemporary Ethnic dances Raisa LaTorraca, who brought movements from lands far away.

🪕🎻 And – of course – this kind of “stage” couldn’t exist without sharing it with friends and fellow musicians, Altai Toprak who brought the voices and music of Central Asian ethnic groups and throat singing, and Lucas Villarim who brought angelic hymns, original devotional songs, and Sufi music.

🎪 After all, we came to celebrate and create a unique blend of sound, prayer, and art that has never happened before!

Kairos is an ancient Greek word for the opportune moment of something happening ... differently than Chronos which is quantitative. Kairos is when it is meant to be by a greater will, reason and meaning... with this song and the performance from the Quarteto with Derek Banach on trumpet, Gileade Pillip on keys, Lazinho Batuck on perc and drums and myself on nylons I hoped to pass along the joy of what happens when it is meant to, and the importance of belief in Kairos.  In sound production I had the partnership of the always amazing Wagner Portela. Recorded between US and Brazil. Hope you enjoy, Dado Sá. 

Kairos es una palabra griega antigua que designa el momento oportuno en que algo sucede, a diferencia de Chronos, que es cuantitativo. Kairos es cuando una voluntad, una razón y un propósito superiores lo requieren. Con esta canción y la interpretación del Cuarteto, compuesto por Derek Banach a la trompeta, Gileade Pillip al teclado, Lazinho Batuck a la percusión y la batería, y yo mismo a la guitarra, esperaba transmitir la alegría de lo que sucede cuando está destinado a suceder y la importancia de creer en Kairos. "Ya no pregunto" (del álbum Rumbo Manifiesto) es una pieza de Deep House / Organic Electronic con una profunda raíz flamenca y árabe-andaluza.
Concepto: La canción es un ritual electrónico que capta el momento en que la urgencia por entender se disuelve, dando paso a una dirección interior manifiesta nacida de la herida.
Sonido: El track se desarrolla a un ritmo lento e hipnótico (115 BPM, G minor) sobre pads atmosféricos y una base de percusión suave. El gancho sonoro es una guitarra eléctrica limpia tocando un arpegio melódico, que se fusiona con una voz femenina en español (melismas contenidas).
Es ideal para playlists de Organic House, Deep Electronic, World Fusion o cualquier ambiente de Concentración / Chillout que requiera profundidad emocional y un groove constante.

Dado Sá has performed his Brazilian and World Jazz Beat for over 25 years with passion and rhythm... Based in Denver, CO but having performed in numerous places around the world and for local Jazz station KUVO for "Brazilian Day on Washington Park", and Lodo Music Festival the singer songwriter continues to write and interpret music for the soul.  Several recordings are available on line and have played through radio stations and the web stations. A mix of Brazilian and Jazz Classics plus original songs make up for an eclectic repertoire.

Hi!
My name is Dimitri Dermencioglu and I am an artist who "lives in music".

Throughout 32 years in the world of music, I have changed many hats and have been known under different names.

All those names turned into temporary personas/projects that gifted me with extensive experience in the areas of music, celebration and ritual, also took me around the world.

Today, my experiences, has become a school of thought, study and practice
that I call "Frequency Lifestyle".

"The Music Medicine" is the last project/persona I have been known for.

A living experience in the exploration, study and sharing of diverse musical approaches and schools of thought/practice, blending and influenced by tradition and modernity, spirituality & and science, celebration & and meditation.

A living school of the science and mysticism of medicinal music, as practised around the world for aeons!

Whether through the mediums of ethnomusicology, music therapy, instrumentalism, composition, DJ ing, or event organisation, the mission of "The Music Medicine" is to use music and celebration as a learning process.

A way to bring people and cultures together, to awaken creativity and potential, to learn and to share the effects of music and sound that comes from the heart and eventually, to foster harmony & joy wherever it passes from!
