It’s a strange time to be questioning freedom, but I’m going to do it anyway.

The largest confinement experiment on the mental fortitude of parents and children across the world, for some at least, is coming to an end. Freedom is tantalisingly close. But I’m going to be a killjoy and ask if lowering the drawbridge closes the gates on the freedom the past year has afforded us.

To do this I'll examine the best selling products of 2019 and then speak to Seneca, Epictetus, Marcus Aurelius, Diogenes and Zeno of Citium to get some Stoic quotes on freedom.

Oh, and Friedrich Nietzsche too. 

You'll be dancing by the end, I promise.
