Inspired by my recent experience appearing in a forthcoming witchy music video, ‘Safe and Sound’ by A'Bear, I made a witchy DJ mix to celebrate the coming of May and Beltane. Everything you hear was recorded mixed as live with no overdubs/ postproduction (you might spot the odd mistake to prove it! 😅)

The mid-point between the spring equinox and the summer solstice, Beltane (meaning ‘bright fire’ in Gaelic) is considered to be a time when the masculine and feminine energies are in equilibrium.

This is journey into the afterlife through sound and fire. Wishing you a joyful May, it begins with an awakening into a wake. The big sleep opens into realms of light and new life beyond. Dreams become a method of enchantment seeking empowerment, ‘Make My Sleep His Song’. Animating life through animism, collective wish fulfilment. It follows the wyrding way into queer magick.
