HOLY CRAP THIS TOOK SO LONG. this track was made all the way back in January. it was originally going to be a single to start the year, as i worked on  the track, the track itself felt incomplete. not in the mixing or arrangement way, but creatively incomplete. the track didn't have a meaning applied to it. i realized most of my singles in the past have sounded like a compressed album without a clear direction or purpose, and the albums I've made before didn't have a real narrative or overarching theme to them. with that, the idea for an album was birthed, originally going to be a 4 song ep turning into a 4 part 15 song album. i was mainly inspired by multiple notes i have written down back in 8th grade and used it as inspiration for not only this track but the  entire album
i have put 130 hours on this track in total and I'm glad it can finally be heard for everyone

from the bottom of my heart, i want to thank all the people that have supported me throughout this journey through Elysium
pouring hundreds of hours seems worth it as i know someone out there will enjoy listening whatever i make, even if its for a few seconds on repeat, or hours just to play it back from the beginning

when i first started this album 2 years and 3 months ago I had no idea how massive this project will be, my greatest musical achievement so far, with hundreds of hours staring at the daw and fine tweaking every little thing to my enjoyment, and my audience's enjoyment

school and life overall is starting to get a bit difficult to balance out as i'm pursuing a BA in computer science, and the harder the classes the less available time i have to be in the daw, and i do have to apologize on derailing and pushing back deadlines, pushing back Patreon, planning sample packs and tutorials; for the sake of my wellbeing and not pile a bunch of stuff in the span of a week just to release something i am not proud of
