Nós do projeto PSYCHOFACES, preparamos um Set com todo carinho em homenagem a APOLLO 28 HOURS TRANCE.

Vocês estão preparados para essa viagem? 

Fizemos uma criteriosa seleção de Tracks, com os 17 projetos de Full on Night que se apresentaram ou irão se apresentar nas edições da Apollo 1,2 e 3.

Levamos em consideração gravar esse set com o tema APOLLO e 28 HOURS TRANCE, justamente pela inovação que a Crew vem trazendo ao nosso cenário nacional. Projetos que antes nem sequer eram cogitados dentro dos line ups, agora são aclamados para tocar no aqui no Brasil outras vezes.

O "Fullon Night" com certeza ganhou mais força, pois muitas pessoas começaram a se identificar com a vertente através deste festival. Devido a isso, fizemos esse Set para transmitir a todos os ouvintes um pouco da experiência sonora que rola nessa festa.
E para a galera que foi nas últimas edições, a ideia é repassar um leve flashback das fantásticas noites de apollo 😍. E felizmente para quem ainda não conseguiu curtir nenhuma das edições, entre nessa viagem e entenda um pouco melhor do que estamos falando =)

Continuing to bolster an already rock-solid reputation for ingenuity, ARTCORE’s next release brings together three of Japana’s finest for a triple EP ‘Tokyo Family’. Comprised of 4-tracks, from 4 top producers from Japan, including PARTYMONSTER, Spectra Sonics, Prohecht, Xipe Totecs have all contributed to the release, which will arrive on 9th October.

The four of them are the latest additions to an already inspiring roster on Indira Paganotto’s ARTCORE - bringing their gorgeously high-octane, homegrown styles together for the first time, a special EP celebrating the talent of Japanese musicians.

Spectra Sonics’ beautifully image heavy aesthetic smartly bridges authentic PSY like energy with the pummelling drive of more contemporary PSY and techno stylings. For his acutely futurist offering, ‘Tribes Of Trance’ opens the release, the vibrant beat-craftsman employs a skittish menace of twitching synth atop an uneasy cluster of distorting modulations and billowing grooves.

The duo of Ana and Yuki make up explosive PSY centric collective Xipe Totecs. Integral to developing their beloved sound in the city of Kyoto, the pair are at the centre of an exciting PSY-trance movement and are regular performers at many of the open-air parties their home city plays host to. On their eerily atmospheric number Kagome the duo adds an unnerving twist to the EP. Under a firing onslaught of rumbling low-end and rave oddities, a haunting folklore-like vocal loops around pulsing drums and skipping synth capturing the spirit of urban legend within a pacy, trance rooted framework.

As founder of the same Tokyo vibe starters that share his name, PARTYMONSTER has been an unstoppable force in Japan’s PSY-trance scene. On his track, ‘Nippon’, the influential producer evokes a chorus of traditional Japanese instruments and subtly contorted sonics to open. Following a radiant blur of thunderous bass, riveting kicks and watertight percussion the beat fades to a final crash of whistles and strings to conclude a sprightly label debut. 

The fourth artist and final track of the EP comes from Propecht. Based in Tokyo he has taught himself the fundamentals of software and synths. Collaborating with Spectra Sonics already, he also released on Brazilian psy-trance label SYNK87 Music. ‘System Collapse’ combines jittering synth patterns with broad, sweeping pads concocting a dense, heavy opening and a feeling of feverish anticipation. After the initial break the track unfolds to crescendo of engrossing grooves and charging rhythms whilst a tranquil vocal navigates this resounding tech-trance offering until the closing stages of track.

Biografía del artista:
Lucas Brizuela, conocido artísticamente como Logan, es un DJ nacido en Argentina, oriundo de González Catán, partido de La Matanza, en la zona oeste del Gran Buenos Aires. Tiene 32 años y su nombre artístico lleva un significado muy especial. Logan es el nombre de su hijo, a quien decidió representar a través de su proyecto musical, llevándolo siempre consigo en cada presentación.
Su vínculo con la música nació en 2016, cuando comenzó a explorar los sonidos que luego definirían su estilo dentro del psytrance.
En 2021 dio sus primeros pasos como DJ, inclinándose por el estilo Full On, fusionando matices de Full Night, Twilight y Groove. Su propuesta se destaca por un estilo propio de mezclas, en el que predomina el Full On Night con toques de Twilight, creando sets intensos, energéticos y cargados de psicodelia.
Su debut sobre los escenarios fue en Vox, a mediados de 2022, de la mano de la productora Natural Om. Desde entonces, formó parte de importantes eventos y festivales como Psy Resistance Internacional, Cue 2, Vox, Psy Camp, y numerosos encuentros compartiendo cabina  con reconocidos artistas en escena como Hardbox, Demlogic, Pollux, Gmey, y Earthnoise, entre otros.
Logan aprendió a mezclar gracias a un amigo, y luego continuó de manera autodidacta, desarrollando su propio enfoque y técnica detrás de las bandejas, donde la conexión con su público y la intensidad sonora son su sello.
Entre sus principales influencias musicales se encuentran Ritmo, Liquid Soul, Avalon y Relactivity, artistas que marcaron su evolución y su sonido actual.
Hoy, Logan continúa creciendo dentro de la escena Psytrance Argentina, consolidando una identidad musical única y un estilo que invita a cada oyente a sumergirse en un viaje sonoro sin retorno.

In 2022, Indira Paganotto established ARTCORE with a clear vision in mind. The primary aim behind creating this label was to acknowledge and elevate the unique sound associated with Indira, which, until then, had not found a suitable representation in any existing label. It's widely recognized that this distinctive sound has been gaining rapid popularity and is finally receiving the recognition it rightfully deserves.

However, it's essential to note that ARTCORE will not be confined to a single genre. Instead, the emphasis will be on preserving authenticity and ensuring high-quality musical output. The label will serve as a platform that celebrates artistic expression, relevance, and musical heritage. Also, ARTCORE enables the opportunity for artists to be mentored directly by Indira is at the core of ARTCORE.

A Geoffrey is the psychedelic trance project of Geoffrey Smith from Durban, South Africahas been active in the scene since 2000 and DJ-ing as A GEOFFREY for almost a decade. He is currently representing ONE LOVE Productions in KZN. A GEOFFREY has played at all the major gatherings around South Africa like Vortex, Altered States,Connexion,Smoking dragon,Ubuntu Universe,Elysium and Echo. He has also featured at Mozamboogy multiple times.
He describes his style of music as Funky, Driving,twisted Psychedelic Trance and his sets have been booked for day and night slots at festivals everywhere for this reason!

PsychoFaces é um DUO de DJ SET, formado por Rodrigo Paião Simplício (22 de Julho de 1993) e Vinicíus Di Carlo Guimarães Giraldi (11 de agosto de 1995), Ambos nascido na cidade de Guarulhos - São Paulo.

A dupla de amigos teve seu primeiro contato com o gênero musical  em  2012, participando de Raves / festivais da cultura PSYTRANCE, apenas por diversão. Agora com o conhecimento musical e cultural obtido na cena, vêm se apresentando através de DJ/SET'S, explorando a vertente PSYCHEDELIC NIGHT (Full On Night), com técnicas de discotecagem, agitando as pistas de uma forma intensa e transcendental.

O nome do projeto foi elaborado a partir de analise das vertentes do gênero, onde cada integrante tinha suas peculiares em termos de Psicodelia que chamava mais atenção. Vinicius; mais conhecido como "Punk", sempre gostou de sons com uma linha mais obscura e continua, e Rodrigo; mais conhecido como "Paião", sempre optou por uma linha mais melódica e dançante.
Resumidamente, o termo "PSYCHOFACES" para nós, seria a união dessas peculiaridades traduzidas em formas de Set's.

E assim foi dado o início do projeto PsychoFaces....
