Analog Horror

This started out as a reference session in Ableton using Costa’s Bass Cannon flip to dial in some mix practice... but somehow spiraled into what I can only describe as experimental meme dubstep.

It’s got a trappy drums, lots of watery wubz, a few yois, and a vocal sample that’s... well, if JARVIS was from rural Alberta.

Not taking this one too seriously just having fun pushing sound design into chaos.

It is hard as hell to remix an all time GOAT track, but I tried anyways. Here's my remix of Hot Like Sauce by Pretty Lights.

To pay tribute to the current iteration of the PL live band, I used a combination of analog and digital synths and made an acid bass style swirl before the second drop.
