See Better at Night is, quite literally, an album made at night. I discovered that my creativity flows better after dark—when there are no distractions and the world is quiet. I didn’t want to create a basic song, so I wrote and produced over 200 songs. These are the best of them. Every track is inspired by my thoughts, feelings, personal experiences, and encounters with people along the way. That’s why I decided to separate my emotions into two distinct sides of the album. Together, both sides give you a glimpse into the different versions of Charles Vega. Side A features a group of songs inspired by the softer, more romantic, personal, and intimate sides of myself. Side B dives into a more aggressive, raw, and egotistical aspect of my artistry. Following themes of night, love, running, heartbreak, self-empowerment, and discovery, See Better at Night is a collection of songs that reflect who I am.

tracks created in ableton live intro and fl studio, using solely trackpad and headphones for most productions.  humanimal2.0 is about how to fight sickness with a love for music, the spirit of imagination and the will to access fearless creativity - I had severe problems with my nervous system due to covid-19 for over a year and had to find a way to maintain willpower to build back my body in order to walk and breathe normally again.  it was a painful experience on many levels that taught me nothing but to keep a consistent and imminent effort to adapt to any situation

i did this with a wide variety of plant medicine, psychedelics, cooking knowledge, a strong love for club music, vengeance sample pack, ice cold water and a brutal work ethic.  it helped to see it as an opportunity to learn and explore other realms of the mind
